Who We Are

We are Sunny Path Counseling, a group of Christian mental health therapists passionate about helping families in our community. We specialize in helping children, young adults, and families work through struggles using creative approaches.

We want to work with parents who want to support their child in doing well. We give parents the resources and support they need to help their child. The content in our Parents’ Corner Blog will help you understand what your child is trying to tell you behind the behaviors and learn therapeutic techniques to try at home. It’s also a great way to keep the therapeutic progress going at home!

Laura Martorano, MA, LPC/MHSP, RPT

Owner, Therapist

I help clients who experience stress and anxiety, grief, problems at school and home, behavioral issues, and difficulty regulating their emotions and developing connections with others. I whole heartedly believe in the ability to have fun while working hard in therapy. I use Play Therapy, creative art therapy techniques, and integrate the support of the family to help children and teens.

Katelyn Couper

Kaitlyn Couper, MA, LPC/MHSP

Licensed Therapist

I strive to take an integrative or holistic approach to therapy by blending together cognitive, behavioral, and play therapy techniques. I believe it is important to address the health of the mind, body, and spirit. I believe the best way to address these collective issues is by engaging in movement, art, play, and talk methods in the therapeutic space. Bringing these methods together to create hope with others is truly a gift.

Jordan Lovetere

Jordan Lovetere, MA

Pre-Licensed Therapist

I work with school aged children and adolescents to empower them in understanding and accepting themselves and their changing emotions throughout life’s transitions. Movement is a universal language and through gentle curiosity and unconditional positive regard everyone has the ability to grow and thrive.
